The treatment I'm undergoing right now is called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing [EMDR]. It's bringing up a lot of emotions that have been put away since childhood, so I guess you could say my inner child is screaming at me.

I'm not sure I know what you mean by lucid dreams. Lately I've been so tired probably from the EMDR, that I'm not remembering my dreams. I did have one with insects that startled me so much it woke me, but I don't remember it.bluerosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09454168542120117493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-938908236031168081.post-20272844016258721582007-07-22T10:45:00.000-05:002007-07-22T10:45:00.000-05:00I really like the use of symbols in this picture. ...I really like the use of symbols in this picture.

It's important to make symbols your OWN, to talk to them, experience them, remember them, and integrate them.

Have you had any lucid dreams? WOW!

I too am in favor of dreamwork and inner child work--have you done any left hand (or non-dominant hand) drawings or spoken to your inner child about this?Mary Stebbins Taitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10626507461216769140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-938908236031168081.post-14004891511449514342007-07-21T13:25:00.000-05:002007-07-21T13:25:00.000-05:00Thankyou Carol Rose Parker and Studio Lolo for you...Thankyou Carol Rose Parker and Studio Lolo for your encouraging words. After posting this link on IlloFriday, I really regretted it, so your kindness is greatly appreciated.

Carol, I'm currently engaged in a process that's probably similar to what your friend has gone through, which explains the gloominess of my posts lately. Hopefully I'll get through this soon. Blogging has been very theraputic. Thankyou so much for telling me about your friend.bluerosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09454168542120117493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-938908236031168081.post-35866880745615765782007-07-20T01:27:00.000-05:002007-07-20T01:27:00.000-05:00Whoa BlueRose...very powerful stuff. The poem is something that helps me understand what that kind of abuse is like. I have a dear friend who was abused in much the same way, and she was able to learn a lot about herself with inner child work, so much so that she went back to school to become a counselor. I really love your style, especially the photographs I've seen on your blog, which is going on my list of favorites immediately!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
