Ambitious, hard working, fiercely competitive,
Friendly, taking charge, life of the party,
Not afraid to rub people the wrong way.
This is how his friends remember him.
They come from all over the world
to fondly laugh about his quirks.
Unaware of all the pain and distrust
he leaves behind.
But, none of this matters anymore,
Because we remember his love and
all the happy moments
With nauseating knots in our stomachs.
Wishing we could’ve had more of those times.
