Haunted Tour

Haunted Tours

I once saw the Aurora Borealis
Tried to capture it, but it flitted away
Now I search for my faithful camera
Finding only incomplete equipment gifted me
In a misguided attempt to prepare for passage

I offer guided tours for your reading pleasure
Through secret corridors
Behind the walls of my childhood home
Where a colorless version of those Northern Lights
Flickers among apparitions that haunt here

Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog. Yeah, Sue's a trip. Bless her though for having faith in us, eh?

I like the imagery this poem invokes. Perfect for the upcoming spooky season.

Thanks for stopping by Steven. Ha, I didn't think about the time of year it was. For once I'm up with the times, even if by accident ;)

Thanks Sue. You do poetry just fine. Your muse is just taking you somewhere else right now.

Thanks Mary! I wasn't very happy with how it turned out; wasn't really trying for that Halloween effect, but it seems to have turned out that way anyway.

Hope you had a wonderful time in Syracuse :D
